Cooter

Maddie

Maddy (the Mysterious Madame X) is a bundle of absolute cheerfulness. There is nothing about her to indicate a difficult past. But her past is unknown since she was found wandering the streets. She appears to be about seven years old. She is trained to sit, to lie down, and to stay. She comes when called. She is friendly with other dogs. She needs a secure yard, because she likes to run off if left alone, or if a squirrel or cat excites her. She sometimes jumps up to demand a thorough petting. She snuggles on the bed and on the couch. Physically she is healthy, with a shiny coat and clear eyes. She has her full tail, which, because she is nearly unceasingly wagging it, gets a little banged up. Her right rear hock is arthritic and gets swollen from time to time. It doesn’t seem to slow her down.

Cooter

Cooter

Cooter is a 6-year-old, neutered male Vizsla-mix. He is good with children and small dogs thought a bit unpredictable around LARGE dogs because he was attacked at a young age by a BIG labrador. He is micro-chipped, current on vaccines, housebroken, knows basic commands like "sit", and will work for food. Cooter is very active and LOVES attention. If ignored, as he was, he will try to dig out of his enclosure and go find someone to pay attention to him; however, he always comes home (never look a gift meal in the mouth).

Charger

Charger (pending)

Charger is a 2-year-old neutered male who was saddly surrendered due to his mom's living situation. He has been described as her "best friend" and socializes well with other dogs and older children. His current fosters describe him as a loveable "baby Huey". Charger has severe bilateral hip dysplasia and will be receiving treatment so that he can have a quality life. We are looking for a loving foster home to care for him during treatment. Read more about Charger's story and how you can help.
