About the Show

Please attend and enjoy this red headed spectacle event! To new owners – these fun shows are a great place to start. Come on out and give applause to our Veterans (7 years and older) entered in the Veteran Sweepstakes and Specialty Shows. Check out our up and coming youngsters entered in the Puppy classes (6 months and older). Enjoy yourself on this fun filled day catching up with old friends and making new ones!

2012 Trophy Sponsorship is available now! You have two options for submitting your sponsorship. The first is by downloading the trophy form, filling it out, and mailing it along with your cash/check payable to the "VCNC". The second option allows you to check current trophy availability as well as reserve your trophy sponsorship online prior to mailing in your cash/check. Deadline for sponsorships to be included in show catalog is Monday, April 16, 2012.

Potluck Luncheon

The plan is for the VCNC Specialty Potluck Luncheon to begin immediately following the Specialty Show and be located close to our assigned show ring. The club will host a gourmet sandwich potluck lunch for club members, friends and exhibitors. In order for luncheon to be successful, the VCNC needs your help! If attending the show, we request for you to bring food to contribute to the Potluck lunch. We expect to serve approximately 200 people so please bring enough to serve 20.

Raffle

This year we have added a raffle to our Saturday event. There are over 50 companies donating their products and 7 VCNC members and friends contributing their craftwork or purchasing skills. Some of the raffle items include collars, beds, treats, toys, vizsla specific items, VCNC apparel, and a couple of silent auction items. Make sure to bring some extra fun cash and address labels for your raffle tickets!

There are volunteers needed for the raffle on show day to setup and sell tickets. To volunteer for the raffle, please contact Lynn Martin at kiralyi@prodigy.net or phone at 916-722-4610.

If you have a shade canopy/tent which could be used for the raffle/potluck, please contact tprikazsky@gmail.com or phone 408-829-2888.

Volunteers

The 26th Annual VCNC Conformation Sweepstakes and Specialty event needs volunteers in order for it to be a success. There are various jobs where assistance will be needed on the day of the June 9th show. The goal is to get enough volunteers so only 30-60 minutes of your time will be needed for most positions.

These volunteer positions are:

  • Raffle Table Display Setup & Ticket Sellers – June 9th early morning
  • Raffle and Potluck Luncheon Table Setup Volunteers – June 9th early morning
  • Raffle and Potluck Luncheon Tear Down Volunteers – June 9th afternoon
  • Trophy Table Award Volunteers - June 9th during show
  • Show Unloading Lot Volunteer on June 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th - 1 hour before show
